Today I was testing ThalaLabs, The project raised 6$ mln in a seed round from venture capitalists.

FAUCET

I was starting my journey through the Thala Labs from claiming #Faucets I need for testing. You can redirect HERE. Then let’s move to testnet dApp HERE.
Claim all faucets for the further interaction with the dApp.

So I claimed:

✅ Cake, tApt, USDC, Wbtc, Weth

❌ I couldn’t claim APT, it simply didn’t work. Maybe some error on other side

VAULTS

There’re 6 different VAULTS we can create.
✅ I did 5 of them. Was smooth and fast, haven’t faced any issues.

I created vaults
Deposited assets
Borrowed $MOD

Result: Fast, Easy, Simple & Smooth

❌APT Vault creation requiared at least 100 APT tokens. I couldn’t create the VAULT cause I couldn’t claim APT faucet.

STABILITY POOL

Once I dealed with VAULTs, I got $MOD token instead of my deposited assets.
✅ With $MOD token I was able to deposit in Stability Pool.
Result: Fast, Easy, Simple & Smooth.

SWAPs

❌ I was facing multiple issues when I wanted to proceed the swap action.

But I found the to resolve this issue.
✅ I increased Slippage, and only after that (even with some errors) I was able to proceed the Swap.

LIQUIDITY POOLS

This is how it looks like.
There’re actually two TYPES of liquidity pools we can create.

Weighted pool

Seems like the auto-proportion for Weighted pool’s working with delay❌
I added 4 tokens with 25% proportion of each, but I had to input it manually, and faced 4 errors with signing, only at the 5th time it worked automatically how it suppose to be.

STAKING

❓I noticed that many users facing troubles on HOW TO FIND STAKING.❓
I found that fast actually, but refer to make it visible for everyone and easy to find. Staking HERE.

Click deposit
In appeared window Deposit > Stake your LP tokens in the same window

✅ Staking was also Fast and Smooth without any issues.

REDEEM

❌ This mode seems disable for now. Didn’t have chance to test it.

SUM

Nice and friendly design of the protocol. Pretty fast for the testnet. Faced only couple of issues.
Claimed the OAT on Galxe once I tested the dApp.
