Polygon Degen: Unlock the power of DeFi on Polygon

I gonna share my step-by-step walkthrough on how to complete Galxe’s Polygon Degen quests without any confusion.
There’re 26 Quests on Galxe in total. You can start your journey through the Polygon by clicking here.
I’m not sure if there is any confirmed Drop for these Quests, but it’s a good opportunity to Warm Up your wallet on Polygon Chain.
I will slowly add my Walkthrough here to this article.
Note: This is not financial advice, remember to always DYOR before exploring.

Quest #1 : Uniswap — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here.
This Quest is very simple, and involves 3 steps. First two steps are:

Then we need to proceed with 2 swaps on Uniswap worth of 20$. We can move to Uniswap here, and make 2 swaps (I swapped from MATIC to USDC and back).

Data for these swaps will be updated every 7 days.
So after we proceeded our swaps, we can come back after 7 days to claim the NFT, and now we are able to move to the second quest.

Quest #2 : Stargate — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here.
This Quest involves us 3 steps. Let’s begin with the 2 easy ones, all we need is:

Then we need to transfer 100$ worth of USDC/USDT/DAI/MAI via Stargate Bridge to Polygon (better to transfer not the bit more than 100$, don’t be that precise).
So, let’s move to Stargate Bridge by clicking here, choose the chain you want to transfer from (I will choose Optimism).

After we made our purchase, let’s wait for a while once our bridge completed. It can take couple of minutes. Please be patient 😊

Quest #3 : Stader Labs — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here.
This quest involves 4 steps. First three are still plain and simple:

The last step we need to stake at least 200 MATIC for minimum 7 days on StaderLabs (we will receive 190–192 MaticX after we made Matic deposit).
We can move to StaderLabs by clicking HERE.

Quest #4 : PoolTogether — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here.
This quest involves 3 steps. First two are still the same with previous Quests.

  • We still need to like and retweet this TWEET.

For the third step we need Deposit ≥ $20 into PoolTogether on Polygon.
At the time of claiming, user needs to have kept their deposit for at least 3 days to be eligible.

Quest #5 : Clipper — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 7 steps. Six off-chain tasks are:

  • Follow Clipper on Twitter
  • Like and Retweet the campaign launch tweet
  • Join Discord and get the “Clipper Community” role
  • Visit the Blog post to understand “What is Clipper”
  • Follow Polygon DeFi on Twitter

For the last step we need to make worth 10$ SWAP (you can use any tokens for swap) and Deposit on Clipper into “CORE POOL”. We can move to Clipper by clicking here.

  • Proceed with the Swap (I did USDC to Matic)
    NOTE: Due to snapshot difficulties Clipper team advice to use USDT right now
  • Make Deposit with volume greater than $10 USD into Polygon Core Pool

Once you completed all on chain tasks we can come to Galxe.

NFT Claim is instant for Clipper’s Quest, let’s claim (we need to pay 0,02 gas fee to claim) and move forward.

Quest #6 : Qi Dao — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 5 steps. So let’s begin with 4 plain and easy steps, we need to:

For on-chain task we need open the Vault on Mai.Finance and Deposit stMatic or MaticX as collateral and borrow 200 MAI (for now only stMatic available). You can redirect to Mai.Finance by clicking HERE.

  • Click on “Create Vault” and proceed with confirming transaction to create Vault
  • Scroll down to see “Deposit Collateral” graph
  • Deposit 260–300 stMatic as collateral (need to borrow at least 200 MAI against our collateral. To avoid the liquidation needs to deposit at least 260 stMAtic).
  • Click to “Approve stMatic” (approve fee is high, set it manually or wait when the gwei drop down)

Now, we are ready to borrow MAI.

  • Click to “Borrow”
  • In “Borrow MAI” graph use the slider to choose amount above 200 MAI (should be at least 200)
  • Click to “Borrow MAI” to proceed
  • Confirm Transaction

We need to wait when we can Claim QiDao Double Century Club NFT achievement on dApp. Only after that we can go to Galxe to claim our main NFT. Let’s wait couple of days until we’ll be eligible to claim that NFT.

Once You claimed achievement on dApp, we can go to Galxe and check our eligibility. It will take approximatelly 4–24 hours.

Quest #7 : 0VIX — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 6 steps. So let’s begin with 5 plain and easy steps, we need to:

For on-chain task we need to supply at least 100 USD worth of any asset listed on 0VIX. You can redirect to 0VIX by clicking HERE.

In this part you can choose any asset you like and supply as collateral (should be at least 100$ worth).
P.S. By the way, we can supply MaticX, that we received by doing this “Quest”.

Quest #8 : LI.FI — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 6 steps. So let’s begin with 3 plain and easy steps, we need to:

Last step requires to make at least 20$ bridge via LI.FI (bridge from any chain to Polygon). You can redirect to the dApp by clicking HERE.

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 5 steps. Let’s begin with simple Like, Retweet and Follow steps:

Last step requires to make at least 20$ bridge via Multichain (bridge from any chain to Polygon). You can redirect to the dApp by clicking HERE.

Follow the steps on the screenshot above to complete the last part of the Quest. 😊

I picked Arbitrum chain to bridge to Polygon (make sure to send amount above 20$, so you’ll be eligible 100% to claim NFT). Bridging your assets can take some time, approximately 10–30 mins.

Quest #10 : Apeswap — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 4 steps. Let’s begin with simple Like and Retweet steps.

The last step involves us to Swap any token on ApeSwap (Polygon). You can redirect to the ApeSwap by clicking HERE.

Follow the steps on the screenshot above to complete the last part of the Quest. 😊

Once you made a swap, we need to verify our swap on Genki. You can redirect to Genki by clicking HERE.

  • Connect your wallet
  • Click on verify (+10)
  • Wait 20–30 mins

NFT Claim is almost instant for this Quest (takes 30 mins), so we can come back after couple of days to claim the NFT.

Quest #11 : SynFutures — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 6 steps.
First of all we need to make some plain interactions like follow Twitter’s account and join Discord channel.

Then we need to Sign up for NFTrues. You can get access to the form by clicking HERE.

We need to fill the form to complete this step (sign your gmail, discord handle, EVM address etc).
Next step involves to connect to the SynFutures V2 dApp on Polygon and make at least one trade. You can redirect to SynFutures V2 by clicking HERE.

  • Let’s choose the asset we want to trade
  • You can choose usdc as preferable asset to open your Long/Short position
  • Approve and confirm

Quest #12 : ClayStack — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 8 steps. Let’s begin with 6 simple tasks:

For last two tasks we need to make deposit at least 5 Matic and 5 csMatic to the Balancer pool.
P.S. If you don’t have csMatic, you can swap it first HERE.

Once we make sure, thant we have both tokes, You can redirect to the Balancer pool by clicking HERE.

Please follow the steps from the screenshots above to deposit your assets to the pool.

Once you completed your deposit, we can move to our last step.
Last step involves staking 10 MATIC on ClayStack. You can redirect to the dApp by clicking HERE.

Once you staked Matic, it will appear on the left side of the screen inside the graph.

Quest #13 : Tetu — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 4 steps. To proceed first two steps we need to:

For the next step we need to Deposit on Balancer pool (TETU-USDC).
If you don’t have TETU, we can get some HERE.

Once you swapped on TETU, we can proceed with deposit.You can redirect to the dApp by clicking HERE.

  • We can find the pool we need by clicking on “Filter by token”
  • Write down “TETU” in popped window
  • Click to the TETU-USDC to redirect to the pool page
  • Input TETU (80%) — USDC (20%) to the pool.

There’s no any requirements above deposit amount, so you can deposit as much as you want.

Now we can proceed with the last step. We need to lock our LP tokes in Vault on Tetu. You can redirect to the dApp by clicking HERE.

  • Choose MAX in “Amount”
  • Manage slider for 1 week in “Lock Period”
  • Approve then confirm

Beside it, we also need to make some deposit on the Vault (1 Wmatic will be enough). You can redirect to the Vault V1 by clicking HERE.

  • Add some WMATIC
  • Approve+confirm transaction

Quest #14 : O3 Swap — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 5 steps. First 4 steps are still plain and simple:

For on-chain task we need to proceed cross-chain swap with minimum 100$ (from any chain to Polygon, I used Arbi to Poly). You can redirect to O3swap by clicking HERE.
Cross-Chain swap will be completed within 15 mins.

Quest #15 : InsurAce — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 5 steps. Four steps in this quest are off-chain, we need to:

To complete the last step we need to buy Smart Contract Cover or Stablecoin De-Peg Cover with InsurAce. You can redirect to InsurAce (Buy cover page) by clicking HERE.

  • Choose “Polygon Network”
  • In “All risk types” choose: Smart contract Vulnerability or Stablecoin De-Peg Risk
  • Pick the protocol you like and click to “Add to Chart”
  • 1. Copy your EVM address from Metamask and input in the graph
  • 2. Choose at least 1000 Matic on Cover Amount and choose 15 days
  • 3. Flag that you are agree with all terms etc
  • Confirm transaction

Congratulations. Now you’ve got your SC Cover.

Quest #16 : GoodGhosting — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 4 steps. Few steps here are Follow&Retweet, follow instructions down below:

To complete the last step we need to Deposit ≥$10 into one of our “Polygon Quest” savings challenges on GoodGhosting. You can redirect by clicking HERE.
Attention!!! Needs to be at least 10 DAI or $10 worth of WETH.

Please note, that you will be able to withdraw DAI only on 03.04.2023.
If you want to proceed early withdraw, system gonna deduct 10% of the deposited amount.

Quest #17 : Timeswap Labs — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 6 steps. First 4 steps are plain and simple, you need to:

For the last 2 steps we need to BORROW (at least 100$) FIRST, and LEND (at least 60$) from/to any active pool on TimeSwap. You can redirect to TimeSwap by clicking HERE.
P.S. In this quest we can use MAI that we borrow in this QUEST.

  • BORROW at least 100$ worth of your assets (I did 105$)
    To borrow MAI we need to deposit stMATIC as collateral. System does it for you.
  • Approve and Confirm

Now we can proceed with LEND. Redirect to Borrow page by clicking HERE (should be at least 60$).

  • Make sure that you are on the lending Page
  • Now we can proceed with LEND (use MAI that we borrowed against stMATIC)
  • Should be at least 60$ (I lent 100$ MAI)
  • Approve and Confirm 👀

Quest #18 : PWN — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 4 steps. First 3 steps still involves to Follow&Retweet, we need to:

To be complete the last task you need to make one offer on any of the existing loan requests on PWN on the Polygon network, with a minimum amount of $50 with the terms set up by you. To redirect to PWN please click HERE.

Among the all offers find the one with above 50$ “Desired Borrowing” (keep an eye on collateral as well, higher is better).
I picked LOAN №1560 with 106,9837$ as collateral and 51$ desired borrowing.
Once you found suitable one, click on “Make an offer” to proceed.

  • Click n “Create offer”
  • In “Credit offered” graph choose USDC, “Repayment” — USDC as well
  • Agree with terms and click approve to proceed

Once you created an offer, you need when the third party accept your offer, and then wait for the snapshot patiently. (actually point in this quest to make an offer, only with opened offer you can collect an NFT)

Quest #19 : Teller Protocol — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 7 steps. Firstly let’s proceed five off-chain tasks:

To complete the last two tasks, we need to go through LEND and BORROW. You can redirect to Teller by clicking HERE.

Please follow the steps from the screenshots above to supply your USDC (no limit for USDC supply, u can supply as much as u want).
P.S. In case you want to check your Supply click HERE (debank doesn’t recognize Teller).

Now we need to procced with LOAN (at least $50). You can redirect to the page by clicking HERE.

Now we need to request the loan.
So in order to borrow 50 USDC need to supply 150% LTV in collateral (for 50 USDC would need to supply 75–85 WMATIC worth of collateral tokens).

After confirming “LOAN TERMS” we need to “Modify Terms”, put 0% in Daily Interest Rate and click to “Modify” button. Then click to “Continue to Submit loan request”, approve and confirm transaction.

You can always check “My Loans” in Borrow activity.
P.S. Don’t forget to pay back your borrowed USDC once you received NFT.

Quest #20 : Celer Network — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 6 steps. Let’s manage off-chain tasks first:

To complete the last step and claim NFT we need to bridge at least 200$ using cBridge (bridge at least 200$ to Polygon chain from any other chain). You can redirect to the cBridge by clicking HERE.
Bridge will be completed within 10-15 mins.

Quest #21 : Atlendis — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 6 steps. We have some off-chain tasks, let’s complete them first:

Finally, our last task. We need to Deposit > 10 USD in any Atlendis pool. Before Depositing, we can watch short video and learn how to proceed the deposit.

Then we can move to Atlendis dApp by clicking HERE.

Please follow the steps from the screenshots above to deposit your assets to the pool. Remember please, that you need to deposit at least 10$ (I did 12,5$).

Quest #22 : QuickSwap — Polygon DeGens ✅

Finally, OUR Last Quest, where you can Claim your Last 22th NFT.
You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 7 steps. We have some off-chain tasks, let’s complete them first:

On chain tasks involves to stake and farm worth 250$ of your assets for a minimum of 3 weeks. You can get to the dApp by clicking HERE.

  • Pay attention to choose pools on V3
  • On “select pair” choose preferable assets (I picked WMATIC-MAI)
    P.S. In “select range” graph don’t put manual, otherwise you won’t be able to farm on Gamma V3 farm
  • Choose “Auto Matic”
  • Approve WMATIC
  • Approve MAI
  • Click on “Preview”
  • Confirm transaction

Now we need to farm You can redirect to the farm page by clicking HERE (Should be Gamma V3 farm on QuickSwap).

  • Choose the farm with assets you staked
  • Click on the correct farm and Stake LP tokens
  • Approve and Confirm

Now all we need is to wait. For the last step- “Hold your LP tokens in the farm for a minimum of 3 weeks (21 days)” we can only wait.
I staked my MATIC-MAI on 18.02.2023, so lets back on 12.03.2023

NFT Claim isn’t instant for QuickSwap’s Quest as I said above, let’s back after 3 weeks. (took me 30 days)
Let’s proceed with the next Quest.

Quest #23 : Polytrade Finance — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 7 steps. We have some off-chain tasks, let’s complete them first:

On-chain tasks involves 2 steps: KYC and 100$ USDC LEND. Let’s start from KYC by clicking HERE.

  • Once you filled your gmail, you will receive link that you need to redirect to complete your verification (KYC)

After redirecting to KYC web-page you need to follow the steps:

  • Fill your country residence
  • Residential address
  • Proof of residential address
  • ID photo
  • Selfie

Once you finished all the steps above, you need to wait until KYC successfully approved.

Now we can procced with the last step. Need to lend $100 USDC (or more) to the latest DeFi pool. You can redirect to DeFi pool by clicking HERE.

  • On appeared page click on “Lend Now” graph
  • Enter lending amount, at least 100$ (I did 110$)
  • Approve and Confirm

Quest #24 : Furucombo — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 5steps. We have some off-chain tasks, let’s complete them first:

  • Follow Polygon Defi on Twitter and Retweet this tweet
  • Follow Furucombo on Twitter
  • Join the Furucombo community Discord & authenticate to get the ‘Combo Member’ role (just need to verify on Discord)

On-chain task involves 1 step: need to perform any action on Furucombo (swap, send token, position management) with volume greater than $100. You can redirect to Furucombo by clicking HERE.

We can proceed on-chain task with the Swap or Depositing to the pool (optional). I prefer SWAP. So let’s click to the “+”.

  • Choose the platform you wanna proceed with
  • I picked “QuickSwap” for Token Swap

Note: Volume should be greater than 100$.

  • I picked USDC to USDT swap
  • Click on “Set”
  • Approve and Send

That’s all.

Quest #25 : Bebop — Polygon DeGens ✅

You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. This quest involves 4 steps. We have some off-chain tasks, let’s complete them first:

On-chain task involves 1 step: We need to make at least 1 swap with at least $50 volume on Polygon network (all types of trades count). You can redirect to the Bebop by clicking HERE.

  • Choose assets you want to swap (I picked USDT to USDC)
  • Click on continue
  • Approve and Confirm your transaction
  • Wait for 10–20 seconds

Quest #26 : Synapse Protocol — Polygon DeGens ✅

Finally, OUR Last Quest, where you can Claim your Last 26th NFT.
You can get access to this Quest by clicking here. There’re 2 ways to complete this Quest and get NFT: Bridge Assets or Deposit into the Pool!
P.S. I decided to Deposit into the pool.
This quest involves 3steps. We have some off-chain tasks, let’s complete them first:

On-chain task involves 2 steps: Need to deposit $100 into the polygon stableswap pool and stake it. You can redirect to the pool page by clicking HERE.

  • Add one of the assets above, or add all of them dividing into equal parts (I deposited 150$ USDC)
  • Click on “Add Liquidity”
  • Approve and Confirm

Then we need to Stake our USDC. Redirect to the Stake page by clicking HERE.

  • In “nUSD-LP” graph click on your available balance
  • Click on “Stake”
  • Approve and Confirm
